John Burgoyne - Principal

Having gained over twenty five years professional experience in the residential property market and held senior management positions within the corporate sector in East and South Devon, John returned to his home town to set up his own Estate Agency business in 2003. The business has grown from strength to strength culminating this year with Burgoynes being awarded “Estate Agent of the Year 2009” for the south-west region.

Simon Jones

Simon is delighted to join the team at Burgoynes and is committed to utilising his negotiating skills, enthusiasm, determination to succeed and energy on behalf of our clients, whilst continuing to build on the excellent record of providing award winning first class customer service. His previous experience in estate agency was within the corporate sector, where consistently impressive sales figures, numerous awards and customer testimonials saw him progress to become Office Manager in Surbiton, Surrey.

Simon's recent career has also been customer focused, initially as a Financial Advisor, before moving back "home" to Devon and working on a self employed basis across the South West in the Retail Sector.

Helen Jones - Full Time Office Administrator

Helen joined Burgoynes in March 2007. Prior to this, she developed her experience and knowledge of the property market by working with a rental agency. To broaden her knowledge and experience she moved to an Estate Agency in Exmouth where she was able to develop her skills as an Office Administrator/Sales Negotiator. Within Burgoynes, Helen is solely responsible for the overall administration of Burgoynes Estate Agents on a day to day basis. Her skills involve production of sales particulars, advertising and media coordinator, organisation of diary appointments plus general supervision and distribution of information between colleagues.

Lyn Burgoyne - Marketing & Sales Assistant

Lyn joined her husband at Burgoynes Estate Agents in February 2007 having spent almost 23 years within the Police Service, as a Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police Force and a Civilian Manager within Devon and Cornwall Constabulary. Her position as marketing and sales negotiator has allowed her to develop new skills in an exciting fresh environment. Having attended various courses and conferences, Lyn has a sound knowledge of Home Improvement Packs and the associated legislation under Home Information Packs Regulations 2007.
